Anemone Rescue - How Do I?

Hi Guys,

My sebae anemone has migrated around the tank and now is surrounding the intake of the powerhead. I turned the powerhead off, and I'm wondering ... should I try to remove the anemone from the intake, or keep the powerhead off and hope my anemone moves off?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks very much,

PJ

I guess it would depend on whether any of your other animals would suffer from the lack of water movement provided by the power head. Have you got any ideas as to why the anemone keeps moving?

Heya PJ,

If I remember right you got a maxi jet or two. Those little guards snap on the bottom. If you have the guard on you can just snap off the entire thing with the anenome on it easily.

Our anenome gets a ton of flow from two powerheads in different directions and stays put at the vortex.

Thumbs up

Anemone Unleashed!

Well, turning off the powerhead temporarily did the trick.

He moved off the powerhead intake during the night.

Thanks for the comments.
