And Boom here you go

i think my little clown fish died, because i couldnt see him for 4-5 days. next thing you know my nitrate went up to 80 ppm. I Immediatly did a water change tried to find the baby with no luck (I think my serpent star eate him) now I have algea growing on my rocks. Thanks to my skimmer the nitrate went down to 20ppm.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I think my pistol shrimp hit the dust this morning. I'm hoping im not going to be making a RIP post. Do you have any idea what killed him?

Sorry bout the little fish, I am guessing you have a small tank to get that kind of nitrate jump

Most tanks can handle a fish dying without a large spike in nitrates.

I will tell you now, lawnmowers can get BIG. I have a 30 gallon with a decent amount of liverock and I'm throwing him into my 55 where he will have more room to swim. You'll love him though. He's the star of my tank.
