last night when i was cleaning my
filter floss and changing out the filter sponge, i noticed several little guys on my towel. after doing some research, i identified them as amphipods, of this type:
during the search and after further reading, i decided to look at the isopods just to make sure none of the little guys i was seeing was a bad isopod (like i have read about recently!). after confirming that the aforementioned critter was indeed an amphipod due to its three pairs of legs at the rear, i was a little more relaxed. so, here comes the question...are all amphipods "good", or are there some parasitic amphipods as well?
