ammonia spikes

Ok here's a stupid question

I've got a 75gal reef tank w/ 110lbs live rock w/ a yellow tank
2 clowns 1 ****sel & a sally light foot w / 2 55 wtt blue actinic bulbs & 2 55wtt daylight 10000 k daylight bulbs, it's been setup up for about 2 1/2 mths now, how long should it take for the ammonia to spike...also in case it helps the only filtration I have it a seaclone skimmer, this is the 3rd time I've had this tank set up and I'm trying to see how much filtration the live rock will take care of....Right now everything tests perfect...should I be on the look out for some major changes.....???????

It can be rebuilt.

your ammonia spike should only occur in the first week of setting up the tank. there may be a small one when you introduce a fish. after the tank has been set up a while the only time you may get an ammonia spike is if something big dies or you add a boat load more "fresh" LR.
