Talking

Amidst all the trials and tribulations, finally contentment

Oh happy day!
2yrs of needless money spent, the heartbreak of lost creatures, a one year heiatous(ignorance is bliss?).To now.

The sheer joy of sustaining and now actually procreating life! Gone are the days of watching your fish watch back at you saying "In Gods name man!"

Due to matters of which consist of about 90% of the typical scenarios and cries for help its taken me this long to achieve what I (like us all) have set out to do, which is enjoy the wonderments of our hobby.

I am now successfully enjoying my 55g reef.

Dont get me wrong, mine nor probably any out there is a product of sheer perfection(We know who has the copyright on that=]) .Nor will i cease to be a Noob, I am just ecstatic that my creatures are no longer suffering, but just the opposite.

I also want to thank everyone for taking the time to post, and help others resolve issues.Great bunch of people!

Thank you TRT,
(that means you!)

Justin

Are you sure your house is maxed out? I've determined that you can do about

1 gallon/100 sq. ft. So for a 2000 sq.ft. house, 200 gallons! That's heated and cooled area though. I cheated. I have a 150sw and 25fw in a 1700 sq.ft. house, but have a 70, 2-20's and a 25 in the garage!
Seriously though, congratulations on the tank enjoyment. I love all mine. Just wait until the corals put on so much growth that you either have to throw away the frags or culture them for sale, then you'll be elbow deep in it again!
