I originally thought these were aiptasia but now i am not sure can anyone confirm that. They are on the top rock and there are about 4-5 of them.

yes they do have a hard shell so that is why i was doubting my aiptasia thought.

The colony I had all of the heads were roughly the same size, and it spread kind of like zoas...about the same speed too
it ended up being a cluster of about 100 heads before my hydno decided to fall on them and quickly dispose of them

I have had mine 2 years and they are that size. Havn't grown. From what I have read they stay about that size.
