Your algae looks like hair, diatoms and cyano. Is this a fairly new tank, it's either new or has serious nutrient issues and there is no quick and easy fix, sad to say.

um..don't think that can be fixed by tomorrow. it looks like it's still cycling. the brown algae should go away on it's own after a few weeks.

You have stored nutrients in your sand bed and or live rock. You have to limit how much food you add and work on getting rid of all the leftover food and fish waste. Check out the various threads running regarding ways to deal with the problem, but be aware there are no quick and easy fixes

Probably not to any significant degree, they can only eat so much and whatever they eat gets returned to the tank so the nutrients that feed the algae growth are still there. I am guessing that you started the tank with tap water and don,t want the fishies to go hungry.
Running a good skimmer as well as a phosban reactor will help but with the sand and rock loaded up it's going to be a long battle to bring the tank up to snuff.

you can scrub it off of your rocks and glass and do a good water change, then i would just keep a close watch on the water paramaters. Test your water

As stated, you are going to have to remove the excess nutrients and this is going to take time. At a minimum you should be doing weekly water changes and vacuuming your sand bed during this process to get out as much of the detritus as possible. After a while things will start to turn around and you will definitely realize when you have reached that point.

Best of luck with getting it cleared up.

I hope the blenny does a good job for you. Let us know how it works out after you have had it in the tank for a few days.

If you don't have corals I would suggest turning the lights off. Don't use any tap water. That was my biggest regret with my 20 gallon.
