for that sized tank you are pretty much out of luck. the bigger the algae the bigger the herbivore needed to eat it.

sounds like you have a phosphate problem. you can try a phosban reactor, you can get a better skimmer, or fine tune it better. are you siphoning out all of the detritus when doing water changes? what kind of substrate do you have?

Thanks for your reply, well my algae problem, isnt really a problem... since i downgraded the size of my tank from 29g to the nanocube 12, some of the rocks that i had used in my refugium had algae growing on it, but i didnt think much of it because it wasnt much at the time. i added that rock to the main display portion of my cube and before long it had attached it self to other rocks, its really no biggie, i can continue to groom it... it doesnt grow that fast and all of my levels are at a norm, i have a very small bioload because i have no fish, my tank is devoted to reef. i was just wondering if there were a crab or shrimp or snail out there i was unaware of that could "snack" on some of this stuff...
-thanks again.

oh and i dont have a skimmer, i just do about a 2 gal h2o change weekly, i have crushed coral as my substrate, and i have no detritus if so very little because my rock was already cured coming from other established tanks.
