Aiptasia behavior

I noticed this small white plant like growing on one the live rocks and I'm thinking it maybe aiptasia. It folds and withdraws into the rock hole whenever I put the flashlight on it. Is this aiptasia? If it is, how do I get rid of it?

Thanks,

Can you get a pic. It sounds more like a tube worm to me, aptaisia are normally brown/orange in colour and i dont think they will retreat by shining a torch on them. A pic should be able to give you a positive ID though.

My guess would be that you have a feather duster. It is really a worm in a tube that used the feather at the end to filter for food. As stated before, aiptasia are usually orange/brown in collor and resemble an anemone.
