Additives in bulk? Good places to buy?

Now that I'm doing a new tank, (and 100 gallons more at that.) I do not want to buy additives every other week!

Where does everyone go to buy bigger bottles of Calcium, Stonium, Iodine, etc?

LFS seems like the expensive option, there must be cheaper places online that sell this sort of stuff in mass qtys for less, isn't there?

When we think to add calcium, we use B-Ionic - you can buy gallon jugs online. It comes concentrated, so you add RO water to dilute as directed.

And kalk can be had at the grocery store (it's pickling lime.)

I don't add anything else, and many of us don't. Unless you're adding it for a reason, you probably don't need to spend your money.

I buy calcium hydroxide from the local farmers co-op. Can't get it cheaper than that.
As for strontium, iodine etc....... I haven't used them in 11 yrs so you can't get it any cheaper than that.
Be sure you test and are sure any additive is needed before you dose it. Most tanks don't need anything other than calcium and alkalinity.
Randy's two part calcium and alk system work quite economically and successfully.
