Acrylic Tank Thickness

Getting pretty close to ordering my new tank. It will be either 48x24x24 or 60x24x24. Is 3/8" acrylic going to be enough?

I wouldn't use 3/8" if it were me. For the 60" tank, I'd suggest at least 5/8".

My Tenecor 60x24x24 is 3/8" sides and bottom and 1/2" top. If you want a full top with cutouts, that will be fine. If you want close to euro bracing, I would not use anything less than 1/2".
