Acrylic scratch remover

Has anyone ever heard of a product that can be used to remove scratches from the inside of an acrylic tank? I wouldn't think of ever putting a chemical compound in the water, but I have heard in the past from a LFS that they are available and reef safe. I also heard about micro mesh, but haven't really looked into that route yet. Got a piece of coraline algae caught in my mag float and scratched it about 3 inches dead center. First scratch in two years!!! Help!!!
