Acro bleeched, will it survive?

Acro bleeched, will it survive?

I gpt this acro in the beginning of january:

and under my lighting it was starting to get a nice blue tinge to it:

but then i moved my tank, and i think this must of stressed it, as after around 1 month of the move the acro bleached half over night, so i did 2 frags of it, hoping that if the main colony didnt survive they would. Well the next morning both the frags had lossed all the tissue and the main colony had lost more, but there after about 1 week of the event is some tissue left on the coral:

(its the brown patch you can see).

i cant see any polyp extension for the coral night and day but then i wouldnt expect to. But i am wondering if it is a lost cause, or should i leave it in there and see what happens, as i know frags can start from tiny pieces, so surely this is just like a frag?

I would leave it in. Yes, something upset it to cause it to bleach. Any change in lighting? Added any new corals? Have any acros in your tank, if so, are they doing well or bleaching as well?

Just cause it bleaches doesn't mean it will die. If it starts to lose tissue, then yes..it is going downhill. If there is tissue left, then there is hope, so I would leave it be and monitor it. Also, check the parameters of your water, (NO3, pH, Alk, Ca) See if any of those are greatly out of whack. Keep us posted! :-)
