About microbubbles in CLS

After many problems with setting up my CLS I finally got it setup and working!!! But the problem is I have tons and tons of microbubbles comign from both outlets of the CLS. Why is this? It is not sucking in air and I let it run for 30 minutes and no difference. Is it sucking in air from some where? Any other reason this could be happening? Thanks for any help

Bubbles can only come form air trapped in lines, pulle in through the suction side of the pump, or in a joint in the suction side. Check your intake. I heard an odd noise the other night on my skimmer pump and saw a very thin line of air being pulled in though the suction side of the pump.

So should I let it run for a little longer and see if it stops? I do not think it is sucking in air from intake. So that leaves it to trapped air or being sucked in from a leak in pipes that are joined?? Any tricks people use to figure out this problem??? If it helps any these are tons of tiny microbubbles not big bubbles. Thanks for the help

maybe ou can pour some water over top of the intake (external) part of the inlet or else you could try sealing all the joints a little bit more.?

Small leaks inthe plumbing can easily escape notice and be almost impossible to detect. Also do you have a "priming port"? If so how is it capped off? If you just have a plug or cap on it then that would be the first place I would look. If this does turn out to be the problem, then romove the cap/plug and replace it with a ball valve that will close and form an air tight seal. I had the problem with my first CLS and when I turned it off and added the valve it gave the water the change to seep from a joint that had a very small leeak that was not detectable when running. Good luck.

Let it sit with the pump off for a while and check for seeping around the joints.
