Abotu lengths of retrokit

I am going to be ordering the VHO icecap retro kit from marine depot. I have a 72" tank so i need teh 72" long bulbs. How long are these with the endcaps on them?? Are they more than 72" cause I want to build my canopy but dont want it to be too narrow that they wont fit into it. Hopefully someone can give me an idea so i can build my canopy before I get them.

Im not really sure about that but the people at Marine Depot are usually very helpful... Im sure if you gave them a call they could tell you.
