A thought for a unusual tank layout, need some input.

Ok, I had what I think is a great thought on a unusual tank layout. I don't want to go into great detail now, but have some questions that you might be able to help me with.

1. Do you know of a paint reactive to atintic light? Something in neon colors? that is safe to put into the tank.

2. The thought is to use atintic only on the tank. are there corals or anemones that can live in atintic only lighting? (very low at that)

3. has anyone ever used "black-lights" on a tank? I'm just a little concerned that they could put out a little too much UV light and damage the tank life.

Thanks,
Chris

I used black light on a fresh water tank once. I had black and white gravel, glow in the dark plants and the fish were painted glass fish with the neon ink injections and neons. Never tried it with salt water though. It was a very cool tank at night!!

I think you are in the wrong hobby to do that to animals.

Not enough light, unless just a FOWLR

Have heard of some guys using it, a LFS does it but also is using MH's

Thanks,
Chris
