A seed with a tongue ?

Sumthang...green and fuzzy the size and shape of a lima bean appeared and was trying to climb the glass. It has a funny appendage that looks like an eye from a potato, and a pinkish like tongue that would come out of the middle and appeared to attach to the glass to pull itself along. I need to get a camera I think !!!!

This morning it was laying on the sand. It looks like a fuzzy seed...really green.

The tongue isn't like a big one from a clam...it was maybe 4 MM across and the whole shell 30 mm.

Cool

Isn't this hobby fun?! Hmmmm...the only thing I can think of right off hand might be a stromatella snail. Can you see a small half-shell on it's back? They do look kind of like that. Other than that, I don't have a clue! Diversity, what a concept

Alice I think that's it. It does have a 1/2 shell and it is some sort of snail.
safe I hope.

Cool

If it is indeed a stromatella, these are great algae eaters. Good addition to your tank!
