Hello All,
Ok, I'm upgrading from a 37g reef to a 90g tank, and am now considering the lighting.
The 37g tank is 23"deep and 30" long. I have a single 175wMH light over this tank, and have great light, maybe just under perfect lighting for the
soft corals I have.
The 90g tank is 25"deep, and 48"long, I'm considering 2 MH lights for this. I was going to get 2 175wMH but for $20 more I can get 2 250wMH lights. My concern is that with 2 of them, it could be too much light and I could cook the corals, and have very few shady areas for corals that want less light. I'm curious to hear what you think would be good light.
Thanks
Chris
