A is this possibly a bad critter ???

I was looking into the tank tonight and saw this worm but it wasnt one that I have ever seen in any of my tanks or other tanks.
its got a small diameter ( about half the size of a toothpick) its bright bright yellow has shorter legs than a red bristle worm but the sides are covered in them. its has 2 big blueish eyes (about 2x the size of the body) in between the eyes it has a pluum of what looks like hair that extends away from the tip.

very odd description of it but it is a very weird looking thing.
what I need to know if this something that might do damage to any of the corals I dont have a lot of them in the tank right now
1 large colt
1 colony of soft green star polyps
1 colony of clove polyps
assorted mushrooms
2 types of brown polyps
and a couple of small anemones (one is a rock flower and the other is unknown)

there was a white worm that was in the tank but the power head got hungry and ate it before I could find out what it might be LOL

any ideas are appreciated
thanks
Michael

pix would be nice...

...also, was it segmented or smooth? How did it move? did it burrow in the sand, come out of a burrow, or come from some fixed shell or tube? daytime or nocturnal? If you know the details for the LR origin for your tank, it will help as well. Many, MANY different genera of worms and worm-like animals, answers to these question will make limiting this to a smaller number of potential id's possible.

the rock is tonga and figi. the only time that I have seen it is at night on the glass of the tank.the worm itself was smooth but had smaller bristle like legs. as far as moveing it was curled up on the glass like a snake ready to strike with its head waving in the water current.
sorry the post before was descriptive but without the norm info wasnt all that awake when I wrote it LOL
Thanks
Mike
