A gentle wakeup for Sunday on TRT!!
Good Mawnin', TRT!
Got the usual sleepy-heads on TRT today, including me. Man, did I sleep hard last night.
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone out there! Prayers of comfort to those who need it, and prayers of joy for other folks!

Morning cath and all you other reefers out there.
I am off to work to get caught up after being three weeks in China.
Here is a fish picture. It is an eel. If you look close the head is on the left and tai on the right. It was my lunch one day.

Morning TRT! Had a nice family day, my sons birthday party. We got him a car (Tim, thanks for asking). He will be off to school in Sept. I also think we will have to get him a new computer (his is getting old). Well, my coffee is nice and hot, better drink it before it cools off (I hate that).
Have a great day all.

A car what a great Gift. Was it his first car. I can remember My first car 59 ford Galaxie. 300.00 and I had to make payments. It was a nice car. Cars cost more now then my first house.

Good morning!
Well, for those of you who didn't check the Good Morning thead yesterday (later), I survived. It was an amazing experience, and while I don't know that I'll do it again, it was a very special day.
And now, on to today, and ANOTHER open house. This is getting really disappointing, as we just aren't getting the traffic we need. Maybe today. Sigh.
Wish us luck!
Danielle

It is his first car (dont make me think about how much it is costing me, Audi A4).
My first car was a 67 Pontiac Bonnville, $100 bucks. No heat (rode with a blanket in the winter). Sweetest car I ever owned.
Danielle good for you, you will be always glad you did it. good luck with the house today!

Good Morning TRT;
Thanks for the gentle wake up, Cath...I already feel like I have a drum corps playing in my head. I hate waking up with a headache. It's a beautiful morning out there too, so I hope the drums finish soon.
Homer, I have more respect for you than ever; how you faced that eel for breakfast is a wonderment to me. Sometimes I have trouble facing a piece of toast, lol.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Danielle: Good Luck on the Open House Day! One of my buddies here is the Prudential's largest volume seller in this region, he always recommends that you bake cinnamon oatmeal raisin cookies and give some wrapped in saran and ribbon to every couple that visits, not only is the gesture genuine, but the scent of cinnamon lends the house a homey atmosphere. He told me tht he has sold several homes where the buyers mentioned the cookies at the closing. Might just be a coincidence, but you could always eat the cookies to pass the time...
Alice: Eel is GOOD for you, keeps away headaches...
Homer: my fave is to have just caught the eel, clean it and skin it, then cook it on the beach. There is just something about those early morning breakfasts, and eel almost as good as freshly gigged flounder. I love it early in the morning, you do your fishing, fix a good breakfast and watch the sun rise over the bay, pack your cooler with the catch, THEN you can go to sleep.
et. al.: My first car: 1961 Mercury Comet with big fins in the back... 141 cu.in. engine (heh!!!) that would sheer off the clutch fork bolts every few months Kept it long enough for my brother to get to driving age, then sold it to him for $200 and bought a 67 Camero RS convertible with an EIGHT TRACK TAPE PLAYER!!!...
I remember driving out from Ft. Jackson (Columbia SC) with the top down, the sun just coming up, and ELO blasting out to the open road and NO TRAFFIC!
THAT was SWEEEETTTT!!!
