A couple questions

Ok fellas, here's the issue. I have 5 hairy shrooms and a glaxea colony I need to detatch. Not too mention a ton of zoas and GSP's but these are no problem. I'd like a way to remove the shrooms and the galaxea that minimizes stress and the possibility of infection.

Got a pic???? Im not following on the galaxea part.......typically they are their own unit that can be simply removed/moved around.

As far as the hairy shrooms....get a large pair of wire cutters or similar...(a razorblade sometimes will work depending on how soft the rock is)......pull the rock out that they are on and simply cut them out along with a thin layer of rock underneath them......that way it makes it real easy for you or whoever you give them to to simply glue in a new spot. If the rock is super dense, and cutting into it isnt really an option...then the shroom will be stuck to mostly the surface instead of imbedded in the rock and you can slowly scrape it off with a razorblade and do what you want with them.

I cant tell you about galaxia, but shrooms can be cut, scraped, burned, etc, they are worse than apatais if you are trying to rid the tank of them and do an SPS tank
Course if you are in possion of prized specimans everyone wants, looking at them crosseyed will result in a meltdown
