By the beginning of next year i will be setting up a 120g reef tank, & i need some advice, i want a mixed system, SPS,LPS, &
Soft corals
it will have MH lighting, 1 inch sand bed,
i need advice on filtration, what wattage of lighting, skimmer, & so forth, ive never ran a SPS system before so i need help before jumping into it.im going to take my time with this one
no filter feeders will be added
UNLESS i have to take down my current system, then the Nepthyigorgia (
Chili Coral) & the blue sponge will be transfered to the new 120g.
also i dont think i will transfer any of my other corals, i will most likely buy all new colonys (this time from trusted sources, to prevent parasites).
