75g fish only suggestions....
We picked up our new 75g tank on Saturday, now we need to figure out what fish we want to put in it. Here is a list of what we came up with....
Huma Huma Trigger
Bluejaw Trigger
Harlequin Tusk
Porcupine Puffer Fish
Bristletooth Tomini Tang
We would buy them all at the same time from a source online, all about 2-3" in size so they are young, and place them in the tank at the same time.
Would this work?

Yes, but I think they grow slow. By the time they would be too big, we just might be ready to go to something bigger.

make sure the tank is well cycled.
Adding that many fish at once...could be risky if you can't support the bioload right away.
not sure if you plan to add anymore fish than the ones listed above.
Are you planning to add liverock?

I had a Huma once. Very small one. It grew pretty quick. It loved bristle worms. In fact it would eat rock to get to them.

that skimmer will surely get a workout!!!
the tusk and the porcupine fish will be the fast growers. not sure how much time you will have with all of them in a 75g.

I think both.
I'm pretty sure his point was...most of those fish are VERY messy eaters. And the puffer will need fed quite regularly (2-3 times a day). As a result, without a really good skimmer, you're gonna have cloudy water...or worse, detectable/harmful ammonia levels.
And as Geoff said, that puffer and the tusk fish will probably take less than 6 months before they need upwards of a 150+. If not, you'll start to see stress manifest either as disease or aggression (more than likely both).
Beautiful fish, and I understand your desire. But keep in mind, you should committ to getting a bigger tank in the near future.
But as a true reefer, I'm sure that's not a hard plan to accept.

You say your water tests are good... Does not mean its Cycled.. Is the rock you added cured already? IMO thats too many fish too fast and nothing good happens fast in the hobby. Can't you pick up 1-2 fish local and let the tan mature some beofre adding that many fish?
Did you add any dead shrimp to start a cycle? I see nothing good happening here adding that many fish at once in a new tank. JMO...
Tanks need time to build up bacteria to handle fish waste.
