Are you going to produce pods in the fuge to feed the tank? If so you may want to put the fuge after the skimmer, between the fuge and return your pods will not have much chance in making it in the display IMO.

What is the water change/quarantine tank doing there? If it is plumbed into the main system like shown then it is not really a quarantine tank as if you treat it you will treat the entire system. I would take that out.
I would let the display tank drain into the chamber that you have bio-balls written in, without the bio-balls. Put the skimmer there with the first baffle being set at the optimal operating depth for your skimmer. Then you can have the fuge section, over under over baffles and your return pump.

Put a filter sock on the drain. It helps the entire filtration system be more efficient by physically removing detritus from the water column. Don't use the bioballs. The skimmer needs to be the first place the water goes.
Good luck and HTH.

Pods will make it through a return pump with no problem. A few months back I had a 1in yellow neon goby go from the sump to my frag tank through a Quietone 4000. Not a scratch on him.

Its a bubble trap. The idea is that the water goes over one baffle, under the next, and over the last one making it harder for any air bubbles from the skimmer making it through to the fuge and/or return pump.

Yep. I spent months trying to catch him out of the sump. Due to the refuge tub mounted on top of it, I have limited access to the 110gal sump and neon gobies are pretty quick. Then one day, there he was swimming around in the frag tank. Still doing fine to this day.
