6speedchevelle's 75G Reef Build
Ok, this might be a little premature to start this now....
But here goes
My wife was kind enough to allow me to replace our 30G tall reef, with a 75G RR and 20G sump
Lets start with the old tank..... 30G tall
Bought the tank and stand off craigslist for $80, built the canopy and added 320watts of PC lighting. Nothing spectacular, but a good way to start I think.

Looks great. I like the way there is no center support. Makes it a lot easier to service the sump.

Yea, I am a little nervous about not having a center support. would SUCK if it collapsed, I can still add a center support with some bracketry, but like it so much, I think I'll roll the dice LOL
Anyone have any experience with not having a center support??
I sealed the sump area with a standard latex caulk
diddnt get a chance to buy trim tonight....but tank is here tomorrow....and I'm FREAKING EXCITED!!!
Here are some more pictures of the frame work....

Here are some pics...

Yea, my current stand has no "beams" inside at all, just help up by the MDF skin.
