65/96 wt PC bulbs

I'm getting a 48" PC fixture from Custom Sea Life and it comes with twin 65's..my query is this..can I run a pair of 96's in the same fixture or would I need bigger ballasts.

Not knowing alot about PC's bulbs I would think a different ballast is required for 96ww bulb! Help me out gang!!

Yes you will need a 96 watt Ballast, shouldda bought a popular brand e ballast or one of the clones, you could run PC as well as all the NO and VHO flo bulbs

Your CSL probably has a Workhorse 5 ballast, it will run 1 96W but not 2.. You will need a workhorse 7 to run 2 96W PC's. There is a possibilty that your light does have a WH7 but you would have to take it apart to find out.

Thier "Fulham" ballasts, electronic, and they make PC, VHO, MV, LPS, and MH ballasts, although I have not been able to find a supplier that carries thier MH ballasts. Thier ballasts are small, lightweight and run cool to the touch. CSL mounts them inside of the light hoods between the reflector and the housing.
