Ok so next I considered water flow. I went with the tidepool sump and silent overflow for the main flow. The overflow has 2 lines coming out of it that come together right before they enter the sump. Then I have a Mag Drive 5 pumping the water back to the tank thru 1" PVC. So I knew that wasn't going to cut it. After looking around I found a great site
http://www.melevsreef.com/closedloop.html
that showed me a wavemaking system for alot cheapier than a $120 wavemaker and a bunch of powerheads. I think it came out pretty nice. So enough talk right....where's the pics!!!!!!!!
These first 2 pics are kinda the materials I used
This is the inlet where the 2 tubes meet from the overflow.
The next 2 pics are the return line to the display.
The below pic is part of the closed-loop system
Here's the left side inlets coming thru the canopy. The larger one is the return from the sump and the smaller is one of the adjustable wave outputs.
Here's the right side. The overflow is on the left, then the intake for the closed-loop wavemaker, and finally the right adjustable output for wavemaker.
Here's a good pic of the back of the tank! I tried to make it well organized.
This is a drain (below) so I can let some water out for maintainance on the system.

This is how the stand has changed as I've added things. This first pic is when it first came up from the garage. I put a 9 outlet contractor surge in the corner and a $10 Wal-Mart clamp lamp for a maintenance light.
Next I got a clamp fan for circulation, slid the sump in, and got a digital temp alert. (Which later got moved to the side of the canopy), it was in the way of the return line and it just got to full down there. lol
Now this is what it looks like now...the fan got moved to the side of the sump (bottom right corner), the temp alert is gone, I got a Aqualight Power Center (beside the surge). Put a towel under everything for noise and spills.....
......and of course my protein skimmer, the Aqua C EV-120, which is run by another Mag Drive 5. So I have 3 Mags total. I still need to get some hose to make a reservoir for the skimmer overflow. There's always something to do!! Thats what I love so much!!

Now for the lighting!!!!!
I mounted the fan power adapters on a piece of wood on the back so they wouldn't hang. I also mounted the ballast on the back of the stand.
Here's a pic with all lights....
...and a pic with the actinic blue only.

Aqua C EV-120 w/ Mag Drive 5 - $341.35 (marinedepot.com)
Aqualight Retrofit kit - $175.99 (LFS)
Aqualight Cooling fan (2) - $41.98 (LFS)
Aqualight Power Center - $42.39 (LFS)
Mag Drive 5 pumps (2) - $104.98 (LFS)
SCWD (switching current water direction) - $38.99 (LFS)

So now that I'm waiting for more money to continue this project, I do have some questions.
What order do I start to add things to the tank...ie (water, LS, LR...)?
How does LR cure if I don't buy it cured? How long does it take?
Will a tank start cycling with only water and LS?
Any suggestions on a cycling fish? Or do I even need one?

I would say, buy the LR, GOOD LR, (from ReefScience) and put it right in the tank and let the tank cycle(no fish)
