For those how dont know, which are most. I plan on keeping mostly sps corals some fish and very little lps and softies. The lighting will be 2 250 SE MH w/XM 15k bulbs. I also will be running a 4 bulb T-5 with an unknown array of bulbs.(willing to take suggestions on bulbs really no clue when it comes to T-5s).

Flow for now will be the 2 Hydor Korillias I have now, and the quiet one return I have. The return holes I have can take a lot more flow trough the tank than I have with the quiet one but not sure what I can afford right now for a bigger pump. I guess I'm always upgrading......or looking for a reason too.

As you can see I need some baffles in the sump to take care of those micro bubbles. I will take some pics of the baffles being installed and the final design of the sump.

Thanks for checkin out my build thread!

Jake

Here is a list of what is in the holding tank right now:

Fish

1 Perc Clown
1 Scopas Tang
1 Sixline Wrasse
1 Black Barred Convict Goby
1 Falcos Halkfish

Thinking about getting rid of the scopas and the perc. I like both of them but I dont think I should have the tang in a 58 gal, and the perc just hosts this big carpet that takes up a lot of sps space. Hope to find a good home for all three soon.

Been wanting to add a Bicolor Blenny for quite some time now, so that may take place if I can find someone to take my bigger fish. I would rather have more small fish than a few big fish.

The coral selection is mostly acros with some montis (digis and caps). too many to name them all. I'll Keep trying to get all different kinds of growth patterns.

I have some frog spawn and one trumpet and thats about all the lps have. I need some micros or some acans or blasto or......Ok I like LPS but I like sps more.

I have been giving most of my mushrooms away as I have some big ones that cover everything. They can eat an acro frag in seconds. so the softies I will have mostlikely will be Zoos.

I also have a tube anemone, Rock anemone and a nice carpet.

If anyone has any suggestions on what I should use for T-5 bulbs in the 4 bulb fixture with 2 250w 15k MHs. I have no individual reflectors for them just one behind all of them. right now I have 2 10k and 2 actinic. looks good but I was thinking about going more blue and let the MHs cut through nicely. I'm just not sure what bulbs would look best.

A friend of mine in the local reef club came by monday to help me put a mesh mod in my CL Superskimmer. Its working a lot better. The tank is in full cycle, diatoms growing, crabs are eating it. the water is testing good right now I might add a few more Pieces of old cured live rock tonight to help it along.

I will also be putting the baffles in the sump tonight. This way I can get my fuge up and running also. the way things are going it will only be a couple more days till I can start slowly moving some livestock over!

Good luck with the baffles, and here's hoping the fish like their new home!

THanks Chris I might need some of that luck. I have acryllic baffles and a glass sump tank. I have 1/4" acryllic though hopefully it wont bust under pressure. the most one are in the sump will hold is about 12gal so I dont think it will be too bad.

Up Date!!!

Well....everything is in the tank, the corals went in about 10 days ago and the fish I kept went in on Monday. The sump worked out great. Everything is happy and healthy. The water is in as good of shape as it can be I only had a small algea bloom as most of the rock was already cured. Absolutly no ammonia, phos, trates, or trites. Tonight I will post pics of the fineshed sump and the display tank with everything in it. Thanks for reading!
