Question

55g lighting question please help


Hi everyone i have been running my 55 gallon for about 6 months with 65lbs of LR and 3 fish and just recently got some soft corals (xenia, and some zoos) and i have4 lights (2x 110w VHO antics and 2x 40w 10k) for a total for 300w is this enough for mos soft corals? and if so what other things could i grow under these lights im new to the whole coral thing and i have no idea about any of them please help!!

I'd say yes
those lights would be fine for lots of soft corals.

Only one concern is that I think usually people try to match the wattage of there 10K bulbs with the actinic.
I'm not certain if you would need more watts of the 10K is what I'm trying to say.
Well this will bump you up anyways somdbody with better advise will guide you in the right direction

that should be fine for soft corals.. keep in mind placement of them too. some like a "shaded" area..or over hang..
