5 micron or 1 micron for my RO/DI carbon filter ?


home depot sells some 5 micron filters is that good enough or do you really need 1 micron or less ?

Question

Do you just have one carbon filter? In my system I have two and stack a coarse then a fine. Is there a prices differance at Home Depot between the two?

mine has a sediment filter , a carbon filter , the RO filter and the DI filter. home depot doesnt sell carbon filters lower than 5 microns.

i ended up buying this one from the LFS for $5.
