Is this fish that agressive like everyone say, my friend has one on his reef tank and is very passive but I have this other guys that tell me they are little white sharks. My tank just did the cicle and tomorrow I will go shopping for my first fishes, I'm looking for a Clown fish and a blue tang, I promise to my daughter.

IMO- don't get a tang for your 55...

they just get TOO big. get her a nice blue damsel instead, and go ahead and get the striped damsel too.... have a tank full of aggressive fish, and they will all be fine.

having your child pick out fish is ok, IF its reasonable. a tang: esp. a blue tang, will outgrow your tank within months. AND alot of kids will go for Dory's little friend Nory just as fast, if they are that age that they like nemo.

I have a dori in my 90gal and he has grown about an inch in the last 6 months. At that rate in 2 years I'll pull him, he should be easy to catch if he's that big! A very active fish and fun to watch. (my daughter had to have a dori too) I would be concerned some about water quality tho.. they seem to be prone to fungus and infections if the water quality is not good.. you might want to wait a few months before you add it. I love mine.
