3D design programs

i though it would be cool if i had a 3D design program to design all my new tanks and DIY projects. so i went to download.com and got a program with good reviews. when it finshed downloading i got right on it i went threw all the tutorials and was more lost than when i started. the program is called alibre design. has any body ever used any program to design their tanks and if so is worth the pulling my hair trying to learn how to work it?

thanks matt

Crap...who is that....is it Wharyat who does that?

Someone on this forum has used CAD software to graphically jot down plans for his tank(s).

let me look and see if I can figure out who it is, and you can PM him.

Auto CAD is a pretty good optio to do stuff like that. If you are interested, send me a PM. I might just have it laying around somewhere.
