36 gallon corner tank lighting question??

I am looking to add "high light" requirement stock, and need to know where my setup stands on the scale. I have a single 250w mH pendant with a 20k bulb. I have a seperate PC130w setup that wont fit with the pendant over the tank....

I added fans to both the pendant and to the top of the tank, and I keep a constant 79.7 degree water temp 24 hours....

Is this enough light for high light required (like clams and corals)..

Is keeping the temp 100% the same day and night a good idea?

Ill post a few new pics shortly, here is one from last week taken from my cell...

I'm not really knowledgable when it comes to lighting but my thought is that if you MH bulb is between 5500 - 10000k then you get better growth so that would mean that more light needy species would do better under this range.
BUT don't go buying new bulbs just yet
wait for others to chime in!

Your temps is just fine. As for an ugrade in light, that would most likely entail a spike in temp as well. I would ssume you would be fine with what you have. But I would be certain if you had more.

A few pics from this evening... Im not sure I understand fully about the 20k mH bulb compared to the 10K. I thought the only major difference was a more blue actinic look...

Is a 10k better for my situation?
