those cubes are a beautifull shape. i keep trying to figure out a way to get one.

since you already have critters in your tank. you will need to be carefull when adding new LR. new LR will cause a cycle. this cycle is directly proportional to the size of the LR. if there is a large piece of LR you want. you might want to hold it at the FS for a couple of weeks, so that it cycles there tank and not yours.

I have one of these tanks they are really nice but i didnt put a sump on it I just used a hang on the back fuge it works really well I also went BB and used about 40lbs of LR what type of lighting are you using? And as geoff said use cured rock when you add to the tank if you dont get cured then cure it in a garbage can first.

yea, its an oceanic 30gal cube, it is really nice. i do have a cpr bak pak hanging on it now, but i really want the sump to increase the water volume, and to hide the cpr and the heater. i still have the stock lights, yea i know it sucks, but i just dont have 300$ to spend on the lights i really want. and about the rock ive read plenty on buying cured rock so it wont have to go through a cycle so i know about all that, thanks for the replies!

Be careful with the rock, all rock (including Cured) go through a cycle. Cured will just be a shorter cycle. Keep your eye on ebay, you may get lucky with the lights.
