300g FOWLR!

Well it seems that the job Ive been working on is probably going to happen. Not in the time frame I was thinking, and with a definate relocation (good thing!). So, this meens new house! And we all know what that means...another big a** tank!
Heres the plan; The 150 will be built into the wall but not sunk into the wall, I want to be able to view from the ends. It will be the reef, SPS BB all out! Lately I have realy been looking at not so reef safe fish and have decided that a FOWLR is needed. There are just too many awesome fish out there! Soooooooo, Im going to get a 300gallon tank for this. These will be two seperate systems. The FOWLR will be pretty simple, no huge flow (just smart flow) and no huge lights. The 150 will be all out (almost there) the wet room will house all the equip for both. Each system will have a WC system built into it so I dont have to use buckets and trash can any more and my wife is home so I must stop talking now......

I feel you man. I am trying to justify some overages in a remodel budget, and a funny shaped closet with a floor drain?!?

Also since this will be fo, I might make it a bit deeper since I dont have to worry about the lighting issue. I realy want some cool fish and a great place for themto swim.

See, now thats along the lines of what I was thinking. As a FOWLR is wouldnt be all that hard. And the only big ticket item would be the tank, the plumbing and pumps would be relatively cheap compared to ddoing a reef that size.
You know your sick when buying a house depends on a dang fish tankl!

Yep your a sicko!LOL It would be hard as hell to clean though being so deep and look at the access area I want bright lights to shows the fish off better.
