30 Gallon Tall Club
Try as hard as I can, I can't find anyone with a 30 gallon tall tank. I want to see some pictures to get ideas for my tank, and to see what other people are doing with a tank that size. I set up a 30 gal tall about four months ago, it was a hand me down from a friend, and he is the only person I can find who has kept this size tank. Come on 30gal tall people, post some pics of your tank, and maybe this odd shaped tank will become more popular, and companies will make stuff like lights that fit it, although I doubt it.
My tank:
I seem to be having a bit of an algae problem again, I don't know why...also, I have rearranged my rock about three or four major times, taking it all out and arranging it again, and I keep coming up with a crappy pile. I was avoiding piling rock on the sides of the tank because I need to clean it usually, but I'm wondering if I should just deal with the glass being unreachable and do something different with the rock.

Thanks for the compliment, I am very worried that my tank looks crappy compared to all the nice ones I look at on here! Of course I forgot the dimensions, the tank is 24" wide, 24" tall, and 12" deep.

Looks great! I have a 30 tall, I always thought it was a 25, but it matches your dementions,.. mine is fresh water planted, but I'll post a pic anyway.

24" lights shouldn't be hard to find. No matter what you do there will always be some spots you cant scrape algae, so don't worry. I had a tank like that until a heater malfunction shattered it.
