30 gal ? reef tank

I just got this 30 (I think) acrylic bow front reef tank with a built in sump, I have never had a tank this small, but I got the whole set up including a Finnex 110 watt PC fixture for FREE. Heres my questions:
1) What do you recommend for the skimmer, it only has a depth of 3 7/8"?
2) What size return pump do you recommend?

Is that a spraybar? Whats the white pvc thing? I'm not sure a coralife super skimmer would fit in an area so small. Perhaps an Aqua C Remora would.

how thick is the acrylic? i would cut the back piece off and add another couple of inches, make it a properly sized sump. either that or drill the back of the sump are and add an external skimmer. all kinds of stuff to try, when it is a free tank!!!

Yes, it is a spraybar. It has holes drilled at 2 angles, 1 set is almos straight up the other is at about a 45 degree angle. I like the idea of drilling and using a external skimmer, any suggestions on a external skimmer to use?
