With that much space I would go for variety. Instaed of a bunch of the same I would put in all kinds of different stuff. But, thats a matter of persoanl preferance. You get to watch em all each day!

You have some options here , I like the tangs You mention, I do think Yellow tanks in a group of two or three are cool then maye a purple. Don't limit yourself to the purple or yellows onlt. Many cool tangs, Naso, Hippo, Chevron, yellow eyes and many more, stay away from the Soho tang can be a mean one with other tankmates.

-yeah, no clown or sohal, and i have a vlamingii already.
-naso is too similar to vlamingii for my taste
-i dislike regal tangs
-chevron's turn a not so cool brown as they mature

so....purple, yellow, red sea sailfin. achilles, and powder blue are my options

I like the achilles. They can be a little bit more of a challenge as I understand it but not too hard!

We used to call the Achilles Tang the "I Kill Easy" Tang - - just a joke but they are hard to keep/feed.
