29 massive expansion

What do you think? should I take my 29 that i have not had much luck with. Drill it put a 150 rubbermaid sump on it and make it into a reef tank? Do you think this would be a good idea? was thinking of a clownfish/ anonome tank.

That's a HUGE sump for a 29 gallon tank! Your 29...has it had any copper medications or anything like that in it?

I understand tryin to keep it affordable. So why not upgrade to a 55g and use the 29 for a fuge. Use the light you have on one side until you can generate the cash for a good 48" light set up. The use the old light for the fuge. Just think 55g = 26g's worth of more viewing pleasure. That and the volume will help as well.

hey if you're happy with the 29 as your dispaly, there's nothing wrong with a 150 sump...the bigger the better. i wish i had room to put in a sump that's that big compared to my tank...would make life much easier

go for it!

Just remember that your water changes will also increase due to water volume. I agree with the 55 and 29 sump

But I already have a 65 and a 90 both salt and a 125 fresh/planted. Was just trying to think of something to do with this tank, don't really want to buy another tank.
