20H with 65w PC


Which corals can i keep under this lighting? Am i right in saying i can keep just about any mushroom inluding rics, zoa's, xenia, leather coral, and a few lps?

Mainly softies.

I dont recommend LPS but you might get away with them directly under the light within the first 6" down.

2x65s will allow LPS placement anywhere in the tank.

Alot of soft corals will be good, Ones that need higher light but higher in the tank. I have found that the PC's really do good on smaller tanks.

ok, i mainly want softies anyway, since im going skimmerless. xenia and sarcophytons need to be towards the top, while the mushrooms, rics and zoa's could go in the middle and towards the bottom, right?

Just remember going skimmerless means more water changes(like once a week)or more.

Yep, your right on your placement thoughts. Xenias will probably end up everywhere anyway.

Softies do great in a skimmerless tank.
