20 gal. long fish stocking question

Hello fellow reefers,
I have a 20 gal long reef with 5 LPS and lots of shrooms and some zoos.
The only fish in there is a royal gramma.
Tank is 2 years old this month.
I want to add some other fish to the tank.
1st question.....how many fish would you have in a tank like this?
2nd question......what other fish don't get too big and would be compatible with a royal gramma?
About a year ago I added a firefish, he went carpet surfing......yesterday I added a small percula clown, he also went carpet surfing grrrrr.
Any replies will be appreciated......

Alas the fish capacity of a 20L is pretty limited One more fish the size of your gramma would be safe, but I would hesistate to go beyond that. To bad on the clown, that would have been my next suggestion. or a couple small blenny or goby types(no mandarin)
Perhaps you need to make an eggcrate cover for the tank to keep them in

As 20 longs aren't that deep, esp with a DSB, I think the eggcrate covering would be a good idea, too.

These are fish that I would like in a small tank, in no particular order:

Ocellaris or Percula Clown; Lawnmower Blenny ( Salarius fasciatus); Midas Blenny (Ecsenius midas); BiColor Blenny (Ecsencius BiColor); one of any of the clown gobies (Gobiodon sp.); Highfin Banded Goby (Stonigobiops nematodes)-actually, just about any of the gobies other than those in the Valencienna family, they are sand sifters and really like to dig, too!

A Royal Gramma could certainly hold its own against a small damsel; maybe a Yellow Tail, A Fiji Devil (Chrysiptera taupou) or the Austrailian counterpart to the Fiji which has orange with the blue, rather than yellow, it's also a Chrysiptera sp.

So many to choose from!

Banggai Cardinals don't get big, and get along with pretty much anything... Midas Blennies are also very neat little fish.

Good luck,
Danielle
