2 wet/drys, any benefit? My dream tank & price opinions needed

I just picked up this on Sat and set it up yesterday. It is 110 gallons I got it as you see here, (minus the rock, sand and fish which I moved over from my 55, along with my pc light you can't see in the pic) with a wet/dry 75 and overflow for just $200! (don't mind the cheesy plastic plants. The pipe fish loves them and they are just there until we fill it up with more rock!)

My question is, since I already had a wet/dry 75 is that one enough for this 110 tank? Should I run both wet/drys? I am currently running the one wet/dry in addition to a power head on the oposite side of the tank to increase water movement.

Should I sell the second filter? If I were to sell it, how much should I ask?

Also, I am selling the 55 I broke down last night. It comes as you see it here with 2 hoods, one light strip, heater, stand and a small amount of live sand. What is a fair asking price for this?

Another tank I have is this 20 gallon high with hood and light. What is a fair price for this?

And then there is this 20 long with hood, light and metal stand. Asking price?

I appreciate all of your help! I learn so much every day I come here and am always inspired! Cindy

Cool new tank! And a great deal

If you are planning to have live rock in this tank, you don't need a wet dry at all,.. In fact in the long run it will do you more harm than good because it will add to a nitrate problem. If it were me, once you get the rest of your rock, I would ditch both wet drys, and setup a 50G or so sump with a nice huge skimmer.

I know!!! I was so excited by the deal I got!! (still am!) The guy even had his neighbor carry it down from the second story and loaded it into the van for me! Sweet! I love the glass hoods too! I removed the back half of the hoods so the pc lights and the regular strip lights don't shine through glass, they are just over open water (except for the fixed 12 inch piece of glass in the center.. what do I do about that?) I know it isn't much but I put Reef and Sun bulbs in the light strips so now I have 270 watts of light. Good enough for now for the couple of soft coral frags I have?

One bad thing happened when I swapped out the tanks. I completely forgot about the small pulsating xenia I had just added and I scooped it up with the sand. I have no idea where it is. It's certainly burried under about an inch and a half or so of the cocina crushed coral bed. Will it find it's way back to the surface? I don't even know if that's possible. Should I poke around and look for it. I am so sad about this because I had been wanting it so badly and only had it about a week!!

I do have some live rock. Only about 30 lbs right now. So I still have the bioballs in the wet dry. Do I have enough lr to take the balls out at this point?

Would a 100 gallon tank be an ok size to use for a sump? Maybe I should not get rid of the 20 gallon high I was going to sell and use it?

I have been testing regularly and my readings always are:

Nitrite: less than .1
pH: 8.1-8.2
Ammonia: less than .025
Salinity/specific gravity: 32/1.023-1.024

I have a skimmer... it's a Seaclone 100. I know many have pooh poohed the Seaclone but mine seems to be doing a great job. I get about 1/3 cup of nasty green yuck out every 2 days. That's been installed as a hang on since the 55 didn't have overhead clearance underneath for me to run it in the sump area of the wetdry. I plan today to move the skimmer to run in the wet/dry now that I have a ton of room under the 110 stand.

Another question on the wet/dry. Would this be a better filter for me to use for my 55 freshwater community tank I have? That tank is running with a Magnum Canister filter. Would THAT filter be good to use on the 110 with the sump?

The 55 w/ stand I would list at $100. 20H, $20. 20L w/ stand $40.
