I'm probably going to ditch my cls and add2-3 of the koralia pumps. 2400-3600 gph at 22-33 watts

I think the recall was due to some pumps making noise, or electrical issues with the pump not being sealed properly. In any case, the recall only involves the "2" and "3" models and not the more commonly used "1" and "4" models.

I have 4 tunze 6200's on my 210 and love them I have 2 Tunze 6101's on the way for the 75 gallon....TUNZE ALL THE WAY...

I like them because they can be controlled by a 7095 controller

I'd change my vote... a couple buddies have them with the controllers and they're awesome. I don't have a lot of hands on time with them, but what I've seen I'm quite impressed.

The vortech controllers are out... and they're wireless (which isnt really all that important, but quite cool). And I have 2 tunze 6100s with a 7095, so I appreciate the Tunze brand, but the size and functionality of the vortech does have it's place. Especially if I had an in-wall tank, I'd go with the vortech, as you can really hide them in the tank (unlike my bulky Tunze streams).

heard thru the grapevine ( so this may be hear say or it may be the truth ) but my understanding is that ice cap is now trying to distance themselves from eco-tech due to the numerous problems that are associated with the vortecs . good idea that was rushed to the market to soon at that high of a price point .
now my tunze set-up has not given me 1 problem and they are over a year old now .

I just got two Vortechs about a month ago. They rock! Great for an in-wall setup due to the small profile inside the tank.
