2 part epoxy

some of my frags keep getting knocked around, so i got some 2 part epoxy, but the lfs guy mentioned that some people loose sps frags when they use this stuff, has anyone had this problem before? is this something i should worry about? the type i have is marineland hold fast. is this ok to mount frags with?

Just like crazy glue.......it will typically kill any part of the coral it touches........but a small price to pay for making it not move IMO.

However........i have never lost a coral becasue of it and have used it lots

I like the holdfast better, just don't be cheap when using it mix up more and kind of overdo it. If you are placeing the frag on a rock in the tank, it is harder then if you can pull both out and tap it dry with a paper towel, also better if the rock hads a rough surface to it with little holes and the like, JMO
