I got ahold of 2 15Longs from the LFS for like 15 bucks. Drilled em both (2 holes each) and plan to plum them together using a Mag5 or Mag7.
Heres a quick drawing of what it will look like. Both tanks are painted already, drilled and bulkheads installed. PVC is waiting to be cut etc....
I have been propagating so much Xenia that one of these tanks will be dedicated to just that (selling to LFS) and the other will be Shrooms (Anyone want bright purple shrooms in a few weeks?
and Yellow/Peach Diggitatta.
Both lit with Power Compacts. No Fish, Just snails, Live rock pieces for mounting etc.
Do you think this will work well with the Mag pump? I can add power heads etc if need be for more flow.
I actually have a Quite One 1200 pump sitting around that i would like to use, any idea if that will work or pump enough? I'd rather save the money and just use this one but I dont have the specs as the box is long gone
and I can;t good specs on the net.
This is just another reason for me to spend money and keep the Xenia from overtaking my main display.
