I agree, it looks cleaner without the pulls. Are you going to use those magnet, push, latches for it instead? Just curious about how you are planning to open them without using the pulls.

Looks like a nice clean design. Are you planning to DIY the stand or have it built?

o yeah... and I think the new plan is 2x6201 on multicontroller and a wavebox roger says 2stream+wavebox is better than 4 streams.
Roger is the Tunze USA guy on RC super nice and helpful! One reason I buy Tunze

I have a chance to get a "deal" on one of the Gold Series (lower wattage higher quality motor) snappers or darts as my return. I don't think this will power a manifold... but if someones knows different please let me know... it would save a lot of electricity bc of the wattage if it would work!

I think the Gold dart/snapper will power anything the regular one does.

The 6101/wavebox combo will generate some sweet flow for you.

And lastly the sump looks, you are on a roll

i don't know I'll probably have to go with the wahoooo! bc it is pressure rated. I really like the name of it

thanks mcliffy, I am excited about the looks of this system and the function too, I am really starting to sweat the design a bit... last second details are killing me. Going with double thick section around the out bulkhead in the sump, and a probe holder. anything else I'm missing?

I am planning to have the tank and sump started Tuesday!

after working out the numbers I will be attempting to use the dart gold to run the return.
@10' we should get 100w and 1500gph. the wahoo would've been the same flow... but 270 something watts!!! and the gold has a five year replacement warranty. Working with Joe from ADHI-usa has been great. he also sent me pics of my material so he's been really updating me a lot. I also ordered an H&S 200-1260 mostly bc of Brian and Craig they really are helping me a lot on this project and I want to support them. Brian is hand delivering the skimmer for me early this week!!! This is a very proven skimmer and I like that fact being it will be the heart of this system.

Craig is now sponsoring TRT so look for his banner add and soon a link on the sponsors page. www.oceansflooraquatics.com
