180 setup!! pics


Hey all, it is finally time. I have built my stand and my 180 is here. I will be posting pictures of my process. Here are pics of my stand, tank, and sump. More to come soon. some of my pics are too large. How do I resize them?

Nice looking frame work.

As for resizing I use Adobe Photoshop. There are a few free programs out there, I don't have any experience with them but others will post a few.

just open the pictures on your computer. the program that opens it shoudl be able to edit it. look for imagine size uner the edit button. change it to something like 600 x 400 or so.

are you going to have a light for the sump area? if so you might want to paint it white to help reflect the lighting . you can see better!

Do you have some more revealing pics of the sump? It looks pretty interesting, I cant make out the whole lay out of it.

I will take some here shortly and post them this evening. It is made from 2 43 gallon display/holding tanks from a fish store(so both are split into 2 halves. I drilled holes though the conjoined sides toand hooked in PVC connectors to alow for a U shaped water flow.

here are a couple of my canopy (which is in the middle of being stained, needs ano9ther coat). It has 6 holes cut along the back for 4 cooling fans and 2 exhaust fans. Here is also a picture of my curing tank in the garage with lots of rock and my Nautilus TE skimmer hard at work.

hint on the pictures. if you edit the image size , do a "save as" and choose jpeg. htis will make it bigger when we see it here.

I'll add some of my sump tonight, after work. also, my canopy should be about finished tonight, and all the assembly shoud comence, so, LOTS more pictures to come.
