14 Biocube Help

I am having a problem with my 14 Biocube....the pump chamber barely has enough water in it to pump without causing bubbles in the tank....what is wrong? I have removeed the charcoal filter and half of the Bioballs...should i take out the sponge filter that sits in front of the pump or leave it in....thanks for the help

Just add more water. If there is nothing in the second chamber then raise the water level in the back chamber to about an inch below the grate in the second chamber and it will work pretty good.

take out the sponge as well, the only thing you need in the sump is heater, return pump and skimmer if you have one.

Should i take out all the bio balls......if so should i put rubble rock in there...if so how much

take out all the bio balls and no dont put any rock back in the sump.

Yep just leave the back sections empty except for heater, return pump and skimmer (optional) and raise the water level.

Keep the water level at the very top, don't look and the min/max mark; those were put there for wet/dry filtration.
