125 Set up/ 55 swap out??

Ok, I have found my future tank. Around the first of the year I will be receiving my new tank which is a 125 reef ready, plus sump, pump, lights, stand..etc...everything. I am trying to figure out how I'm going to set it up though. You see, I have the room, but I want to put it where my 55 currently sits...(there is more than enough room on both sides to accomodate the extra 2 feet)...but my question is this...how do i move my 55 (fully stocked with LR, fish, DSB, and corals) out of the way enough to set up my 125 to begin cycling as I will have to add live rock and more sand? I would essentially need them both running side by side, so that once the 125 was fully cycled I could move everything from my 55 into my 125...but then would I have an amonia spike?....there is no way to move the 55 or sure as hell not the 125 once there is water/rock in it... Has anyone done this? And how did you do it? What I'm currently thinking is to take all of the additional LR/sand and cycle it in a trash can/large rubbermaid container...then once that reads zero...fill the large tank, put the rock and sand in...and then just put everything from my 55 into the large tank all at once...yikes do you think this will cause any die off/spikes? Anyone have ANY ideas??

mafia man just moved a large tank complettly filled with dollies.........and yes i think the trash can for the new lr curing would be the way to go .....
first i would move the 55 to the side of where the 125 is going or somewhere out of the way but not to far......second get lr and cure it while you are setting up and plumming everything for the 125

http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=40446 I would get some more LR and start curing it asap. Save your old WC's, too.
