**** this hobby!

Right when I think I have the tank just the way I like it, I had to go off and change it and cost me more money

So I bought a new light system http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...t~ES53402.html

and I also bought an bulb tip anemone and a flame angel today. The falme angel seemed very healthy in the store, but is hiding in the rocks now. I hope he comes out soon

So now I have around 15 crabs, nemo, flame angel, one camel shrimp, and an anemone.

My wife wants some more fish, but I think I am at capacity here on this 36 gallon.

Here is a picture, but the tank is on the dirty side because I was not home for 3 weeks.

One question though. I once had two clowns, but one jumped out. The one that is left only likes to hang out in the upper left corner now. I think it got depressed when his buddy died. Do you think he will make it down to the anemone? I'm skepitcal, but hope he does

looks good !! i would say to go ahead and a couple of gobies of a few not so large fish (but only if your filtration can handle it).

I was thinking this tread might be one of thouse that a person might be leaving the TRT and we had to do our best to convince the person to stay but your post doesn't sound like you are leaveing but actually getting more stuff.

Oh i get it the fact that you did buy more stuff is why right.?.? I don't know any more. All i know i am never going to be fully happy with my tank. Untill i can get it as big as the ocean and as full as the ocean and as clear as the ocean. heck i woun't be happy untill i live in the ocean. hahahaha .

I know that I will continuesly be buying something new for the tank. that's sad but true. I have faced the cold hard truth. gosh that sucks. oh well I have a small peice of the ocean in my living room though.

yeah what he said. I know from experience that some clowns never host. because my first clown just hid in the corner like yours is but mine stoped eating also. and well you know what happened next. but my new clown hosted within two days of being in the tank.

Sorry for the loss.Like they said I have two clowns ,one host in a fuzzy mushroom the other just goes in a back corner. You didn't say how long you had them.Give him some time. Also is your tank grounded?if not stray voltage could cause the one to jump and the other stay up top.

Nope, not grounded. Will go out and buy one of those probes soon.

I meant to write "Darn" this hobby but wrote d amn (by accident) because its sucking my wallet dry :-)

I do like it a lot though.

The clown has been in the tank about 3 months.

I would get used to the money drain. I don't know of too many hobbies that aren't. If you stick with it and realize that is an investment that will get many oos and awws then it's worth it. Trust me I have had almost every drawback of the hobby possible, but my tank is part of my life (even though it has almost killed me)

This Hobby (like many others) will have it's ups and downs.

At least fish don't eat the furniture
